Listen to the Strokes on iHeartRadio

A pair of Strokes are teaming up for some new music, but it doesn't have anything to do with the Strokes.  Guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. has announced plans to release a solo EP on frontman Julian Casablancas' label, Cult Records.

The five-track set, titled AHJ will hit stores on October 8th.  Hammond calls it the best material he's made so far, adding that the new material is a combination of both of his previous solo efforts.  He released his debut album Yours to Keep in 2006, and followed it with his ¿Cómo Te Llama? EP in 2008.
