'Voice' Contestant Left With Hole In Face

Meghan Linsey, who competed on 'The Voice' two years ago, shared awful news on social media when a spider bite left her with a hole on her face. "Woke up to a stinging sensation on my face," Linsey posted in February. The runner-up on the hit show said she discovered a dead spider in her right hand and was suffering from "excruciating pain, muscle spasms, full body rash, extreme swelling." A brown recluse spider caused the bite. The venomous spider is about the size of a quarter and is mainly found in the south, central and Midwest parts of the country.
