Disneyland Reaches Capacity And Turns Away Hundreds Over The Weekend

Saturday at Disneyland was packed! So packed that the park had to turn away hundreds of customers because the park had reached its maximum capacity.

Why was it so crowded? Well, it was the last weekend that 'Southern California Resident' passholders could get into the park before summer blackout dates start. Many suspect this caused the large crowds to pour in.

Many people on social media were reporting 3 hour wait times for rides like Space Mountain and Splash Mountain.

Disneyland doesn't officially disclose it's capacity, however, the LA Times has previously reported that insiders revealed the number to be about 80,000 people.
