The good vibes were felt from the front to back when CHVRCHES hit the ALT 98.7 Summer Camp stage. Fresh off of the release of their third album Love Is Dead, the band played old and new tracks that had everyone one their feet.
The band started things off in dramatic fashion, with frontwoman Lauren Mayberry holding a pose resembling Rio's famous Christ the Redeemer statue. CHVRCHES then broke out a show-stopping performance, beginning with "Get Out" and proceeding to play renditions of "Clearest Blue" and "Never Say Die" among other hits.
Check out some of the highlights below.
CHRVCHES hung out backstage with Harms before the performance, and discussed what has stuck out during their journey — including a special moment returning home.
"We did a hometown show, like a festival, in Glasgow," "It was really good, because it's been a long time since we've been there. And it was a warm, sunny day in Glasgow. You get one like every five years, and it was that day."
