Lana Del Rey Says She Wants To Work With The National

Though her latest release Norman F**king Rockwell doesn't include any features (though it was heavily produced by Jack Antonoff), Lana Del Rey has worked with the likes of the Weeknd, Stevie Nicks, A$AP Rocky, and Max Martin in the past, and though she dropped her latest album just last week the singer-songwriter is already planning out its followup, White Hot Forever. Though we don't have many details about that project yet, she recently mentioned a band she'd like to work with in the future, and let's just say we're definitely on board.

During a recent interview with The Times, writer Al Horner asked Lana about potential collaborators, and though that part of the conversation didn't make it into the final piece, he shared it via Twitter.

“Well, I really like the National," she said before gushing over singer Matt Berninger's vocal prowess. "His voice, I think about it…a lot. Every time a song is playing and I'm like, who's that? It's always them.” She also mentioned folk veteran Joan Baez.

Check out Horner's post below.

With Norman F**king Rockwell out in the world, Lana is heading out on a North American tour later this month. Check out a full list of dates here.
