Steak is not exactly the cheapest dinner option. It's something that is generally saved for special occasions and when somebody else is paying (sorry, dad!). But this week, you don't need to ask a generous friend to dinner in order to score yourself a steak. Outback Steakhouse is offering the chance for 50,000 people to get a free steak without ever leaving the house.
In honor of Outback Steakhouse now offering delivery from 670 locations through DoorDash, the chain is giving away 10,000 free steaks a day for five days, starting Wednesday. Here's how it works: When you order from participating Outbacks on Doordash and use the code "STEAK," you can get a six-ounce Outback Center-cut Sirloin and the choice of one side for free...as long as you make a $20 purchase. Yeah, there's always a catch. But consider this dinner for two made very, very easy...and cheap. Once that's done, all you have to do is sit back and wait.
As always, you'll want to call ahead and make sure your local Outback Steakhouse is participating. You'll also want to act quickly: This offer ends on September 29, and though 10,000 steaks per day may seem like a lot, when they're free steaks, well, they may go quickly.
