The California Department of Public Health updated its guidelines outlining the COVID-19 risks that are associated with traveling.
It's advised that residents stay home as they urge travelers to think twice before coming or leaving the state. According to the new guidelines, they suggest self-quarantining for 10-14 days for non-essential out-of-state travelers. If you are a non-essential traveler, it's still strongly encouraged not to enter California. If you are a California resident, it's advised to not travel further than 120 miles from home.
