Create Now’s mission is to empower youth through arts education and mentoring. For 23 years, their organization has served more than 48,000 of the most vulnerable youth in Southern California. They serve kids ages 3 to 24 by focusing on young people challenged by poverty, violence, abuse, neglect, homelessness incarceration, substance abuse and similar challenges
Create Now matches volunteers with the 175+ youth partner agencies in our network,like shelters, foster group homes, mental health clinics, schools, rehab centers and detention facilities in Southern California. They also customize the arts workshops in terms of location, schedule, ages, genders and challenges that the youth face. The organization provides mentors with the arts supplies and equipment needed.
