This Man Quit His Job At Starbucks Through A Catchy Song

Baristas from Starbucks put up with a lot of crap. Baristas have to serve cranky, un-caffeinated people in the morning, learn all the crazy Starbucks secret menu items people keep coming up with, and probably deal with so much more than I can imagine. That is, until this guy went viral for quitting his job at Starbucks through a song about how much working there sucked.

Anesti Danelis is his name, and according to his YouTube channel he's a musician. In the video that now has over 250,000 views, he has a guitar and stands in the middle of the Starbucks location.

"Hello everybody, can I get your attention super quickly?" he starts off before shouting out his coworkers and customers. "I've been working here for a few years, and it's been so nice to work here...my lovely coworkers. I see all your lovely faces everyday. And I have a song for my manager, and I hope you all enjoy it!"

Sounds innocent enough, right? WRONG! Right as he begins singing, you can tell it's not a ballad of appreciation for his manager. Quite the opposite, actually. It starts off as follows:

Dear manager/

I've been working here for so long/

I've got something that I want to tell you/

So I thought I would say it in a song.../

F*ck this I quit!/

F*ck this place, I quit!/

Danelis then goes on to sing that he got another job, won't be showing up to his last few shifts at Starbucks, and tells his manager to take that time he tried to fire him and laughed in his face about getting a promotion and shove it up his... well, you get the point.

Anyway, I can't tell if this guy is a hero to service workers everywhere or just extremely brazen, but either way I'm happy for him and his new gig. Now cue this catchy song being stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
