I'm not surprised with this news though, as reports are rampant with RISING cases of Covid and the new variants oh and the new flu-Corona combo 'Flu-rona' cases. Its A LOT to stay on top of, but just know...it looks like the masks are sticking around, as California extends the indoor mask mandate until Feb. 15 amid omicron surge.

California residents, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask in all indoor, public settings.

State officials had brought back the mandate last month amid a surge in new COVID-19 infections fueled by the more-contagious omicron variant. Holiday gatherings and related activities are said to also be playing a role in a sudden increase in cases. The mask mandate WAS supposed to expire or at least be re-evaluated, as of Jan. 15, 2022...but now its officially been extended another month.
