Weezer Rock The LA Firehouse Museum for Jack Fire's Rise From The Fire Show

ALT 98.7 and Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire took over the LA Firehouse Museum for a night of libations and music. Money couldn't buy a ticket to this exclusive event - the only way in was to win.

Hundreds of lucky ALT listeners got the chance to taste delicious Jack Fire cocktails, take virtual reality trip through the Jack Daniel's distillery, tour the Firehouse Museum and rock out to a headlining performance from Weezer.

The night was all about was all about giving back. Jack Daniel's presented a $25,000 check to the Fire Family Foundation. The nonprofit organization works to provide assistance to firefighters and their families, fire victims and fire departments in need.

Throughout the night, members of the LA Fire Department passed around their fire boots, collecting donations for the organization as well.

The party was officially on when Weezer hit the stage. The band ripped through a set of hits like "Island In The Sun," "My Name Is Jonas," "Say It Ain't So," "Undone" and many more. They even threw in a special cover of the Pixies classic "Where Is My Mind?," who they'll be touring the US with this summer.

The band closed out their with "Buddy Holly." The crowd chanting "One more song! One more song!" quickly took over the venue. That's when lead singer, Rivers Cuomo, jumped on stage again for an unexpected solo encore.

Rivers asked the crowd if they were ok with him playing a few cover songs. He was met with a resounding "yes" from fans. He treated fans to his own rendition of the Smashing Pumpkins' "Today" and and R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion."

After the show, the band gathered backstage inside the museum to meet with a group of ALT meet & greet winners... the perfect way to end the night for these Weezer superfans!
