Weezer in studio with The Woody Show

Weezer continues their monumental resurgence in 2018 by dropping some major news today. This morning on “The Woody Show” Rivers, Scott, and Brian debuted their brand new song “Can’t Knock the Hustle”, announced their new “Black Album” due out in early 2019, AND announced a North American tour alongside alt-rock legends Pixies.

If that wasn’t enough Weezer news, hold on to your hash pipe, the band also released a video for “Can’t Knock the Hustle” starring Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy which you can watch below.

Weezer’s upcoming “Black Album” should see the Weezer sound grow in new ways with TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek at the helm producing the new project. Weezer’s front man Rivers Cuomo gave a hint as to how Sitek’s production will shape the band’s sound describing the new album as a mix between Beastie Boys, Beck, and Weezer. - Arthur Ballesteros
