While conducting a traffic stop earlier this week, an Arizona highway patrol officer made a shocking discovery: a passenger who was so malnourished, he looked like a skeleton.
Actually, it was a skeleton -- albeit of the Halloween decoration variety. It turns out the vehicle's 62-year-old driver, who was pulled over for a window tint violation, had propped up the skeleton so he could drive in the HOV lane, according to the Department of Public Safety. Although he'd attempted to fool officers by putting a camouflage fishing hat on his bony passenger's head, the DPS officer was too smart for him and immediately identified the passenger as a scam.
Tweeting about the incident, DPS officials wrote, "Think you can use the HOV lane with Skeletor riding shotgun? You're dead wrong!"
