CVS Pharmacy just announced they plan on opening up to 1,000 coronavirus testing sites by the end of the month.
The first 50 drive-thru sites will be open across Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida and Massachusetts starting today. The rest will be announced within the next two weeks and NO testing will be taken place within stores. These drive-thru sites will provide self-swab to individuals and patients must register in advance at CVS.com to schedule an appointment.
CVS said their goal is to process 1.5 million tests per month. As of right now, they're able to process 30,000 per week in five states.
