A teacher in Northern California was accused of coughing on a 1-year-old at a Yogurtland location in San Jose. The school district just confirmed that the teacher is no longer employed.
The encounter was captured on cameras on June 19th in an argument over social distancing. The police then looked into the social media posts claiming that the woman who coughed on the 1-year-old was a teacher in San Jose's Oak Grove School District.
District officials said:
"There is no place in the Oak Grove School District for any employee who would deliberately cause harm to a child. If the District receives confirmation from SJPD that the individual involved in the Yogurtland incident is our employee, we will take immediate action."
