Any Apple customer who has purchased a previous iPhone model can submit claims for $25.00 per phone.
This is in response to the company's settlement of a lawsuit that accused Apple of slowing down older devices. The settlement was announced in March and applies to any customers who purchased the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus before December 21st, 2017.
If you are one of these people who experienced performance issues, Apple will pay "per eligible device." If you were affected, you must submit a claim online or by mail no later than October 6th to be eligible for a payout.
