There's nothing no longer surprising about this year, that's for sure.
According to an American Airlines pilot, there were reports of seeing a mystery person in a jetpack flying above LA, right in the path of incoming jets at LAX on Sunday evening. It was even seen by a second pilot. Based on research, jetpacks can't fly that high. Some believe that this was an internet or social media stunt.
As of right now, no one has come forward saying that were flying a jetpack. Flying that high in the sky is not typical and very dangerous. The FAA was contacted and this is currently turned over to the LAPD for further investiagation.
