Halloween Postcard Delivered 100 Years After it was Sent

When Michigan resident Brittany Keech received a postcard in the mail this week, she thought it was unusual because "no one sends postcards anymore," she says. But then she noticed something even more strange: It had been sent to a man named Roy McQueen on October 29th, 1920 -- nearly 100 years ago.

Now the 30-year-old woman has embarked on a mission to locate the postcard's proper recipient. Keech has posted a picture of the postcard on several social media sites in hopes that someone might know McQueen or even the sender, Flossie Burgess. So far, she's come up empty-handed.

The Halloween-themed postcard reads, "Hope this will find you all well. We are quite well but mother has awful lame knees. It is awful cold here. I just finished my history lesson and am going to bed pretty soon. My father is shaving and my mother is telling me your address. I will have to close for a night. Hope grandma and grandpa are well. Don't forget to write us -- Roy get his pants fixed yet."
