SNL just named Jack White as Musical Guest after country singer Morgan Wallen broke the COVID-19 safety protocols.
They stated: "We're still in the middle of it," acknowledged Michaels of the last-minute switch before naming White as the replacement. Calling somebody on a Thursday to be here for Friday, it's complicated. It has to be people who are ready to go. And he's always good on the show."
Wallen took the blame for his behavior, posting a video on social media explaining his actions and how they affected his longterm goals and dreams. He explained how he respected the show's decision because he put them in jeopardy.
