As a small way to say thanks, thousands of health care workers are getting free tickets to the big game, tanks to the NFL.
Roger Goodell, the league's commissioner announced that 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers will be invited to attend the game. He stated "These dedicated health care workers continue to put their own lives at risk to serve others, and we owe them our ongoing gratitude.This is also an opportunity to promote the importance of vaccination and appropriate health practices, including wearing masks in public settings."
The health care workers that are being invited will have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
