The California DMV will resume in-person driving tests starting the first week of February.
According to the DMV, any tests that were postponed due to COVID-19 will automatically be rescheduled. If you made an appointment between December 14th 2020 and February 1st, you will be notified through text when the new test is scheduled within the next two weeks! New appointments for driving tests will become available in the middle of February.
Anyone taking a test along with employees are required to wear face coverings, respond to health screening questions, practice social distancing and get a temperature check.
