Los Angeles second COVID-19 renters relief program is set to open for applications on March 30th.
The City Council voted on March 2nd to approve using federal and state government funding for the second round of the city's rent relief program. This will help around 64,000 families with rental assistance. All funding is available for people who live in Los Angeles and have been impacted by the pandemic or have been unemployed for 90 days or more. They must have a combined household income at or below 50%, but the priority will be given to renters at or below 30% of the area median income.
