HAIM's indie-pop-rock vibe is a nice change of pace in today's mainstream scene. But they're not afraid to dip their toes in another pond sometimes. Check out this list of their best covers and maybe they'll perform one of them at #ALTSummerCamp!
1. "That Don't Impress Me Much" by Shania Twain
The band recently did a killer cover of country queen Shania Twain's song for Australian radio station triple j. Their "Like A Version" performance definitely shows their multi-genre artistry.
2. "Bad Liar" by Selena Gomez
This was a very unique turn for HAIM, but they nailed it. Danielle kills it on her makeshift drum set and pretty much carries the entire song.
3. "XO" by Beyoncé
This sweet and adorable crooner from Beyoncé has been covered by everyone including John Mayer, but HAIM's stripped down performance of this song really shows off their natural talent.
4. "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" by Shania Twain
HAIM just can't get away from Shania Twain! This impromptu cover was performed at their Los Angeles pop-up shop in June and came after Twain announced she would be releasing her first album in 15 years.
5. "I Would Die 4 U" by Prince and The Revolution
HAIM is known to perform this song at pretty much every show they do, but their performance at Lollapalooza definitely brought the house down.
6. "Oh Well" by Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac is another favorite of HAIM's and if you need any reason to watch this cover, Danielle's opening guitar solo will be enough to hook you in.
7. "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac
HAIM performed at Chateau Marmont for "Girls to the Front," a benefit for the Girls Rock Camp Foundation. It was hosted by fellow #ALTSummerCamp artist Beth Ditto and instantly became the hottest ticket in town.
Whether it's pop, rock, or country, Haim can do it all. If you want to see their magic live, check them out at #ALTSummerCamp on Saturday, August 19th at the Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach. If you want tickets, click here for more information!
