We all shed a few tears when Paradise Pier's run at Disney California Adventure Park came to an end in early January to make way for Pixar Pier. Now we know exactly when the park's renovation will be complete.
Pixar Pier will open this summer - June 23rd to be exact, according to Oh My Disney!
DCA will bring the Pixar magic to the park starting on April 13th with Pixar Fest. You'll be seeing a lot more of your favorite Pixar characters wandering around DCA and Disneyland.
Pixar Fest will lead into the unveiling of all the new attractions, food and merchandise at Pixar Pier. There will four neighborhoods themed around Pixar stories like The Incredibles and Toy Story.
The highly-anticipated Incredicoaster will make its big debut on opening day as well. The thrill ride, formerly-known as California Screamin', is inspired by Incredibles 2 which hits theaters on June 18th - just a few days before Pixar Pier's opening.
If that's not enough Pixar magic for you then you can head over to Disneyland where the Paint The Night parade will get a new addition. A new float featuring The Incredibles will join the festivities. The pop art inspired float is sure to be a spectacle as each character from the movie will show off their "high-tech" super powers, reports Oh My Disney.
