A 10 episode "prequel" series to the 1982 cult classic "The Dark Crystal" is coming to Netflix at the end of the summer

The Dark Crystal is a 1982 puppet animated high fantasyadventure film directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz. It stars the voices ofStephen Garlick,Lisa Maxwell,Billie Whitelaw,Percy Edwards, andBarry Dennen. The film was produced byITC EntertainmentandHenson Associatesand distributed byUniversal Pictures. The plot revolves around Jen, anelf-like "Gelfling" on a quest to restore balance to hisalien worldby returning the lost shard of a powerful but broken gem.
It's definitely dark and weird and loved by SO MANY PEOPLE.
