Disney is slowly but surely starting to open back up! Matt Simon, Disney Springs' Vice President just confirmed that his property will begin a phased re-opening on May 20th.
The rest of the Walt Disney World Resort will still remain closed including the theme park and resort hotels. As of right now, not too many details have been released but he did mention that Disney Springs will look different than before due to COVID-19. There will be enhanced safety measures, increased cleaning procedures and use of appropriate face coverings for cast members and guests along with limited contact guest services. You can also expect reduced parking options.
Things may change once it becomes closer to May 20th but as of right now, this is the plan!
We are hoping we get more news on reopening of Disneyland soon! What are your thoughts on this?
