Due to the protests, several Target locations across the country are closing down amid the ongoing protests over the death of George Floyd.
Most of the stores that are shut down are located in Los Angeles, Dallas and Minnesota. These locations will be shutting down the largest number of stores.
The chain released a statement that said "We are heartbroken by the death of George Floyd and the pain it is causing communities across the country, Our focus will remain on our team members’ safety and helping our community heal. We are providing our team members with direct communications updates regarding any store impact where they work.”
