Facebook just recently blocked an ad for onions because it was overly sexual!
The company E.W. Gaze just shared a photo of Walla Walla onions grouped together in a basket. The explanation for the photo being blocked read "Products with Overtly Sexualized Positioning. Listings may not position products or services in a sexually aggressive manner." According to company official Jason McLean he said "I guess something about the two round shapes there could be misconstrued as boobs or something, nude in some way."
The social media eventually changed their mind and said that they use automated technology to keep nudity off their apps.
