Americans are very eager for another stimulus check while the United States government is currently working to get COVID-19 vaccinations to the public.
According to congressman John Delaney, he is aiming to help both sides by providing stimulus checks in exchange for getting vaccinated. The goal is to reach a 75% vaccination rate faster which could save both lives and the U.S. economy. He stated: "We have to create, in my judgment, an incentive for people to really accelerate their thinking about taking the vaccine. If you’re still afraid of the vaccine and don’t want to take it, that’s your right. The faster we get 75% of this country vaccinated, the faster we end Covid and the sooner everything returns to normal, which means we don’t need any more programs."
