It has just been announced that Disney confirmed no in-park plans for New Year's Eve to welcome 2021.
This year, fireworks are set to be streamed to hotel guests. One of the busiest days of the year at Walt Disney World is the week of New Year's. Despite the rise in cases, the resort still expects to see big crowds to celebrate the holiday and all park will be extending their hours on December 31st.
There are currently fireworks that take place at Magic Kingdom, but Disney confirmed that there will be no special evening entertainment, countdowns, fireworks at any park on New Year's Eve due to health and safety procedures to help practice social distancing.
Instead, they will offer pre-recorded fireworks and other holiday offerings that will be available to stream on in-room televisions to help bring in the new year.
