Dr. Fauci believes that theaters and other live entertainment venues could possible reopen some time in fall of 2021.
According to Fauci, he said that live entertainment's return could depend on vaccination rollout and getting between 70 to 85% of the population vaccinated. If they do happen to reopen, venues will need to require audiences to wear masks and take safety precautions.
He stated: "If everything goes right, this is will occur some time in the fall of 2021, so that by the time we get to the early to mid-fall, you can have people feeling safe performing onstage as well as people in the audience."
