Phoebe Bridgers made her SNL debut last weekend and performed "Kyoto" and "I Know The End."
Bridgers then ended her performance debut by smashing her electric guitar against a monitor. After the performance aired, she received criticism from different individuals, one being Dave Grohl. Many thought the smashing of the guitar was completely unnecessary and some even said that she could have donated the equipment she destroyed.
Bridgers then tweeted out saying that she didn't ruin a perfectly good monitor and SNL provided a fake one for the performance. Dave Grohl stated “I saw that performance, I actually talked to my mom about [it]. [She asked] “‘did you seeSaturday Night Live?’ I said, ‘yeah.’ She goes, ‘What did you think about that girl Phoebe?’ I’m like, ‘She’s got a beautiful voice, she can really sing.’ My mother was like, ‘I loved it, I thought she was great!’”
