Los Angeles is expected to move into the less-restrictive red tier as early as Monday, movie theaters can reopen and indoor dining will be allowed with reduced capacity along with other restrictions.
It's expected from officials to qualify for the red tier sometime between Monday and Wednesday but the date depends on when he state meets a threshold announced by Newsom. Indoor dining then will be able to resume at 25% capacity. The county will require restaurants to have 8 feet of distance between all tables and only 6 people from the same household will be allowed at a table. Museums, zoos, aquariums, gyms and movie theaters will also be allowed to re-open.
