Willow allows fans to see a different side to her personality discussing her new new single, “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l (featuring Travis Barker)” - she opens up about wanting to create her own distinct sound with her music and discussed her emotions about having Travis Barker believe in her and her music.
She also delved into the topic of her new album which she plans on releasing later this summer, as well as, planning upcoming collaborations with other artists. Willow discusses her upbringing, navigating the music industry, and importance of “focusing on your craft”.
Willow tells the story of taking the initiative to start playing the guitar and how her approach to making music changed when she did.
“I always felt like I needed somebody else and when I started playing the guitar, I could take full control of this - I can do it all.” Willow also touched on the topic of not sticking to one sound and experimenting with different generes in music. Willow first signed with RocNation at age 9 and over the years has truly paved her own path through her music and style.
