Airport Metro Connector project will let travelers take the train to LAX!
Officials gathered together to break ground on a $900-million Airport Metro Connector project that by 2024 will link the country's fast growing rail network to a people mover system that is being built at LAX.
This will be up and running in time for the 2028 Olympics, but officials see it as a turning point in Los Angeles expensive efforts to make mass transit a serious alternative in a city known for cars.
