Bleachers' "Everybody Lost Somebody" Addresses The Loss Of Jack's Sister For The First Time

Bleachers just released another track from their upcoming album Gone Now, which is set to be released on June 2nd. The song is called "Everybody Lost Somebody" and is a tribute to Jack Antonoff's late sister.

The singer took to Twitter to to explain the meaning behind the song. Jack explained, "... i lost my sister when i was 18. that in some way informs everything i do and everything i write." He continued, "... it's the first time i feel conversational about this loss..."

Although he is addressing some pretty heavy stuff for the first time, he doesn't want anyone to feel sad when the band plays this song live. He says its "meant to celebrate all this heaviness."
