Linkin Park's Chester Bennington Commits Suicide

Linkin Park's lead singer, Chester Bennington, has committed suicide, reports TMZ. He was 41-years-old.

The singer was reportedly found at a private residence in LA this morning before 9am. Law enforcement officials say he hung himself inside his home at the Palos Verdes Estates.

Bennington had his struggles with drugs and alcohol. In a 2009 interview with SPIN, the singer spoke about how the band's 2000 hit single "Crawling" was "... about feeling like I had no control over myself in terms of drugs and alcohol."

Chester leaves behind 6 children.
