Portugal. The Man Lights Up The Stage at Royce Hall

ALT 987 and Subaru teamed up for a benefit show with Portugal. The Man and Electric Guest at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus. The night was filled with nonstop jams, insane visual and good vibes.

Thanks to proceeds raised through tickets sale, we raised a total of $55,000 to benefit Subaru's Share The Love Foundation charity partners: Meals on Wheels, the ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, or the National Park Foundation. Before the show started, Harms presented a giant check to representatives from each charity.

Lucky ALT listeners got the chance to enjoy a pre-party on the patio at Royce Hall. Drinks flowed, delicious snacks were passed around and lots of Jenga was played thanks to our friends at Subaru.

Portugal. The Man showed up for an exclusive meet & greet just before they jumped on stage too!

LA's own Electric Guest opened the show the show with an energetic set that included one of our favorite tracks, "Oh Devil." It was hard not to get up on your feet and dance while watching lead singer Asa Taccone own the stage with his own moves.

Portugal. The Man's set was nothing short of EPIC. The band ripped through favorites like "Modern Jesus" and their breakout hit single "Feel It Still" while the crowd grooved along to their trippy visuals and vibrant light show.

We were even treated to a few classic covers including:
The Righteous Brothers "Unchained Melody"
Metallica "For Whom the Bell Tolls"
Pink Floyd "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2"
Oasis "Don't Look Back in Anger"
