Soon, we will be able to help out local businesses by donating to those who are struggling with coronavirus related closures through their Yelp pages. All you have to do is download the app and it will bring you to a GoFundMe page.
GoFundMe is promising to match up to $1 million placed in donations through the service and they are working with other companies to contribute to the matching fund over time.
The message reads "COVID-19 has made it tough for local businesses and their employees. Share your support in these difficult times by donating. All proceeds go directly to the business.”
All donation buttons will automatically be added to Yelp pages for different types of businesses like restaurants, nightlife spots, beauty parlors and even fitness centers.
