LA's Convention Center Has Been Converted Into A Field Hospital

If you happen to be driving in downtown Los Angeles, you might have noticed that the convention center is now being converted into a field hospital.

Los Angeles is making moves to prepare the city for an expected surge in demand for hospital beds as the number of COVID-19 cases increase.

It will be run by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Over the weekend, 30 National Guard members helped unpack equipment. The station will provide medical supplies along with cots to take the high pressure off hospitals that are nearby.

It's amazing to see our city come together to fight this!
