New Uber Eats Feature Allows You to Send Food & Drinks to Other People

If you owe someone a dinner - and weren't gonna be able to pay up until after lockdown is over

Now there is a way

From Delish:

Uber Eats understands that you're probably missing simple things like going out to grab a quick bite or drink with your friends, and so they are launching a new feature that allows you to send food to your loved ones and share the status of their delivery with them from a distance.

To celebrate the launch of this new feature, Uber Eats is teaming up withStarbucks to let people send a drink or menu item from the coffee chain to whomever. In the same way you can order something for yourself, you just need to put in the address of the recipient of the order.

From there, you'll be able to share the delivery status with them so they know when and where their food will be dropped off.
