AMC Theaters Doubt They Will Survive COVID-19 Outbreak Shutdown

AMC has doubt that they will be able to remain in business after shutting down their locations due to COVID-19.

The company stated that their revenue had fallen $941.5 million in the first quarter and the second quarter is expected to be even worse. The theaters worry that distributors will continue to push back new film releases, hurting their operations. They hope to reopen their theaters this summer but since production has been delayed, there won't be a lot of new movies to show for a little while.
