MLB Teams Testing Fake Crowd Noise

The 2020 MLB season is set to begin next week on July 23rd, but with Covid still around, no fans will be allowed to attend games.

What to do? Well, the MLB will be experimenting with fake crowd noise for TV broadcasts AND pumping it into the empty stadium.

Apparently the sound system has been tested, playing a 'low murmur' of a crowd, cheers and even boos.

We know you're gonna miss making noise at the games IRL though, so if you still want to kind of *feel* like you're there, you can buy a cardboard cutout of yourself to cheer on your team!
