Target Stores Will Be Closed On Thanksgiving Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

Target stores just announced that they will officially be closed on Thanksgiving this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

Now, they will be starting some of their biggest deals of the year in stores and online come October. Brian Cornell who is the CEO of Target stated "This year more than ever, a joyful holiday will be inseparable from a safe one, and we’re continuing to adjust our plans to deliver ease, value and the joy of the season in a way that only Target can."

The last time Target was closed on Thanksgiving was back in 2011. Also starting August 1st, Target will require all shoppers to wear masks nationwide.
