Heat Wave Threatens California Power Outages

The heat wave is still threatening California power outages. They are keeping an eye on it since it's strongly impacting the electrical system.

Officials warned the possibility of more power interruptions to ease pressure on the electric grid. According to the California Independent System Operator expected to make utilities start rotating blackouts to 3.3 million homes and businesses on Monday. Flex Alerts are urging customers across the state to conserve energy across the state through Wednesday.

Forecasters say that the heat wave is caused by a strong ridge of high pressure anchored Nevada. In Orange County, temperatures are expected to reach triple-digit territory.
