If you are planning to travel this upcoming Fall, make sure you double check your reservation. There could be changes and cancellations made to your trip.

According to USA Today, they reported that airlines started removing flights that are already scheduled due to the demand being low during the pandemic. There was a spike in summer travel, but fall trips aren't being booked as frequently. As for United Airlines, they have 2,000 flights a day scheduled for September. The airline planned double the amount. As for Southwest, they removed 25% of their September flights and American Airlines numbers are down from 5,400 to 2,900 a day.

USA Today suggests that you are checking your reservation, read update e-mails and don't wait until the week before to reconfirm your reservation.
