It has just been announced that the second largest movie theater chain in the U.S. is now pushing pause on their business.

Regal Cinemas announced that they will be indefinitely halting their operations of 536 theaters as of Thursday, October 8th. These closures will end up impacting 40,000 employees across the U.S. The theaters were counting on the release of the new James Bond film to help out with the ticket sales due to the pandemic.

Since the release has been pushed back to April 2021, they will be closing indefinitely.
