Beverly Hills just approved banning trick-or-treating this year on Halloween due to the ongoing pandemic.
The new ordinance prohibits house-to-house and car-to-car trick-or treating on Halloween. It also bans spraying shaving cream on others, giving candy, Halloween treats and toys to anyone living outside the house is not allowed.
Mayor Lester Friedman explained "While I know this is disappointing news, especially to our children, we believe this is the responsible approach to protect the health of the community."
