Every November, The Oxford English Dictionary reveals its Word Of The Year. But 2020 was no ordinary year.

This year's report is titled "Words of an Unprecedented Year" and breaks into multiple categories.

Pandemic-related words include 'coronavirus', 'lockdown', and 'social distancing'.

Also listed were social justice terms like 'BIPOC', 'allyship', and 'cancel culture'.

Work-related terms like 'remote' and election-related phrases like 'in-person voting' also saw an increase in usage.
