L.A. Offers $800 To Thousands Of Restaurant Workers Struggling

Los Angeles is offering $800 to small number of local restaurant and food service workers that have been impacted by the pandemic.

Their plan is to benefit 4,000 people who work at eateries, food stands and other food units in the city. Garcetti stated that beneficiaries will be selected at random if there's not enough money for all who apply. All applicants must live in Los Angeles and be at least 18 years old and have an annual income below $58,450 for 2019 and have fallen into hardship throughout the pandemic.

Applications will open on December 7th at 9 a.m. and will be accepted through Friday.
